Music Team & Jam Club

Sarah Prothero serves Cornerstone Evangelical Church as the leading member of our music team and through her regular involvement and support of our JAM (Jesus And Me) Club. She also leads our annual Children’s Holiday Club during the summer at Cornerstone.

Sarah was brought-up in Sunderland. Her grandfather, Tom Jones, was a well-known evangelist (who composed the popular chorus: Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me) and her father was a pastor/teacher. Following her early education, she did her teacher’s-training in Cambridge and has become well-known as a teacher in the area around Abergavenny.

Over the years, Sarah has been actively involved, and used, to plan and lead conferences/ministry to pastor’s wives and full-time Christian workers. Her main interests, outside of the church, include reading, badminton and general socializing. Thirty years after becoming a Christian she remains committed to extending the kingdom of God.
